Ebiquity plc (EBQ.L), a media investment analysis firm, announced Tuesday the appointment of Ruben Schreurs as a director and the Group's Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Schreurs succeeds Nick Waters, who resigned from the role and stepped down from the Board with immediate effect. Waters is leaving to pursue other career opportunities, returning to the agency sector. He will remain with the business as Global President until January 31 to ensure a smooth transition and handover.

Schreurs was previously the company's Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer. He joined the Group in 2020 following the acquisition of Digital Decisions, of which he was founder.

Ebiquity noted that the new CEO has been a key player in the expansion of its product offering and the transformation of its business.

Schreurs currently holds around 7.01% of the Company's voting rights.

Rob Woodward, Chair, said, "Ruben's entrepreneurial background, strategic insight and commitment to client success make him ideally suited to lead the next phase of Ebiquity's development as we strengthen our strategic focus and expand in emerging media areas."
