SGL Carbon SE (SGLFF), a German carbon and graphite product maker, announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Andreas Klein as chief executive officer, with effect from January 1, 2025 for a term of three years.
The appointment follows the current CEO Torsten Derr's decision not to extend his Board of Management contract, which expires in May 2025.
The Board has agreed to an early termination of his contract with effect from December 31, allowing him to leave the company on the same day.
In addition, the company extended the contract of its CFO Thomas Dippold by another five years.
