Norcros (NXR.L) reported a first half loss before tax of 11.7 million pounds compared to profit of 11.7 million pounds, last year. Loss per share was 9.5 pence compared to profit of 10.3 pence. Underlying profit before tax declined to 16.4 million pounds from 18.1 million pounds. Underlying EPS was 14.1 pence compared to 15.6 pence.
For the six months to 30 September 2024, revenue was 188.4 million pounds, down 6.5% from last year. Group revenue was up 0.1% like-for-like, at constant currency, for the period.
The Board expects full year underlying operating profit to be in line with market expectations.
The Board declared an interim dividend of 3.5 pence per share. The dividend is payable on 14 January 2025 to shareholders on the register on 29 November 2024.
