Embecta Corp. (EMBC), a global diabetes care company, on Tuesday, reported financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter ended September 30, 2024, with net income and revenue exceeding consensus estimates. The company also announced a restructuring plan, to streamline operations.
Net income for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2024 was $14.6 million, or $0.25 per share, compared to $6.0 million, or $0.10 per share, in the same period last year.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions.
