SAB Biotherapeutics, Inc. (SABS), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has made significant progress with its lead immunotherapy candidate, SAB-142, in the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
SAB-142, a human anti-thymocyte immunoglobulin (hIgG), is being developed as a disease-modifying treatment aimed at delaying or preventing the progression of T1D.
A phase I trial of SAB-142 in healthy volunteers is underway, with enrollment of all planned cohorts in healthy volunteers having been completed.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
