Shares of Iterum Therapeutics (ITRM) touched a new 52-week high of $2.42 during intraday trading yesterday, reflecting a gain of more than 98% over the past 1 month.
Iterum is focused on developing next generation oral and IV antibiotics to treat infections caused by multi-drug-resistant pathogens in both community and hospital settings.
The company's ORLYNVAH, a novel oral antibiotic, received FDA approval as recently as October of this year for the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
