VirnetX Holding Names John Anthony Jamison CTO, Succeeding Victor Larson

VirnetX Holding Corp. (VHC), an Internet security software and technology company, announced Monday that it has hired John Anthony Jamison as new Chief Technical Officer or CTO.

Jamison succeeds previous CTO Victor Larson, who will take on a new role as a strategic advisor at VirnetX.

Jamison served as a Naval Intelligence Officer from May 1997 to January 2018 for numerous strategic, operational and tactical commands and technical assignments.

He later served as the Technical Director at BAE Systems, Inc.'s FAST Labs Defense Electronics R&D Unit. Following BAE Systems, until November 2024, Jamison was the CTO at an AI/ML start-up, OmniTeq. The has been working there to develop commercial services in the fields of bioinformatics, energy and power optimization, and climate related analytics.

Kendall Larsen, VirnetX President and CEO, said, "He brings a wealth of technology experience in the intelligence community and will be instrumental as we convert on our defense sector objectives."
