Begbies Traynor Group plc (BEG.L) reported that its first half profit before tax increased to 4.7 million pounds from 3.0 million pounds, last year. Earnings per share was 1.3 pence compared to 0.8 pence. Adjusted profit before tax was 11.5 million pounds compared to 9.9 million pounds. Adjusted EPS was 5.1 pence compared to 4.6 pence.
For the six months ended 31 October 2024, revenue increased to 76.3 million pounds from 65.9 million pounds, last year. Revenue growth was 16%, or 11% organic.
The Group said it is confident of delivering full year results in line with current market expectations. Begbies Traynor is on track to deliver medium-term revenue target of 200 million pounds.
