While reporting financial results for the fourth quarter on Wednesday, semiconductor photomask maker Photronics, Inc. (PLAB) provided earnings and revenue guidance for the first quarter of fiscal 2025.
For the first quarter, Photronics expects earnings in a range of $0.43 to $0.49 per share, on revenue between $208 million and $216 million.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $0.46 per share, on revenues of $210.0 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For the fourth quarter, the company reported net income attributable to shareholders of $33.87 million or $0.54 per share, lower than $44.61 million or $0.72 per share in the prior-year quarter.
Revenue for the quarter grew to $222.63 billion from $227.47 billion in the same quarter last year.
The Street was looking for earnings of $0.52 per share on sales of $218.0 billion for the quarter.
