Atlantic Union Bankshares Q4 Fiscal 2024 Net Income Rises But Full Year Net Income Drops

Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation (AUB), a Virginia-based financial holding company, Thursday reported higher net income in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 and a lower net income for the full year.

The fourth quarter ended in December 31, 2024, reported a net income of $54.8 million or $0.60 per share, an increase from $53.9 million during the same period in 2023.

For the full year ended in December 31, 2024, AUB reported a net income of $197.3 million or $2.24 per share, a decrease compared to $189.9 million or $2.53 per share during same period in 2023.

The company reported adjusted operating income available to common shareholders of $61.4 million or $0.67 per share for the fourth quarter of 2024, and increase compared to $58.8 million or $0.78 per share during the same quarter of previous year.

For the year ended December 31, 2024, adjusted operating income available to common shareholders were $241.3 million or $2.74 per share, an increase compared to $221.2 million or $2.95 during the same period in 2023.

Thursday AUB closed at $36.57 or 3.43% lower on the New York Stock Exchange.
