Polaris Inc. Q4 Profit Decreases, But Beats Estimates

Polaris Inc. (PII) announced a profit for fourth quarter that decreased from the same period last year but beat the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at $10.60 million, or $0.19 per share. This compares with $103.40 million, or $1.81 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Polaris Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $52.30 million or $0.92 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.90 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period fell 23.3% to $1.755 billion from $2.289 billion last year.
