60 Degrees Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SXTP), a pharmaceutical company focused on developing treatments for infectious diseases, announced that it has received Investigational Review Board or IRB approval for its Phase II clinical study to evaluate tafenoquine or ARAKODA as a potential treatment for chronic babesiosis.
The open-label study will assess the efficacy and safety of tafenoquine over a 90-day treatment period for patients with a presumptive diagnosis of chronic babesiosis.
