Josh Turner was recently presented with three plaques celebrating RIAA certifications by CEO and Chair of UMG Nashville Cindy Mabe.

The plaques commemorate Turner's hit "Why Don't We Just Dance" being certified 3x Platinum and "Long Black Train" being certified 2x Platinum. His album Haywire was also certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The country superstar was honored before he played a sold-out headline show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium last week, the first time he has headlined at the famed venue since his sold-out show in 2021.

The Ryman Auditorium holds a special place in Turner's history, as it was the stage where he made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2001.

"Wow! What a great night at the Mother Church of Country Music!" Josh Turner. "Sold out show, Tim McGraw's mama was in attendance, Mike Wolfe of American Pickers was there, my family and lots of friends, and to top it off, my label presented me with 3 plaques! One for 'Why Don't We Just Dance' going 3x platinum, one for 'Long Black Train' the song going double platinum, and my Haywire album going platinum! Thank you to all you fans for making this possible!"
