CollPlant Biotechnologies Ltd. (CLGN), a regenerative and aesthetic medicine company, Monday announced the expansion of distribution of its Vergenix STR product in Europe and Asia.
The product is based on its rhCollagen technology and helps treat tendon injuries, including tennis elbow, rotator cuff, patellar, Achilles, and hand tendons.
The new distributor for Benelux and Spain specializes in medical device sales, particularly in orthopedics, and received its first shipment from CollPlant in February.
In Turkey and India, the distributors, which also focus on medical devices, are completing regulatory approvals and plan to start selling VergenixSTR in 2025.
Recently, CollPlant signed agreements with distributors in the Netherlands, Turkey, and India to sell VergenixSTR.
VergenixSTR is a soft tissue repair material that blends cross-linked rhCollagen with platelet-rich plasma, a blood component rich in platelets, which play a key role in healing.
