Charity Auction To Feature Guitars Signed By Slash, Neil Young & More

Gibson and its philanthropic division Gibson Gives have partnered with Julien's Auctions and FirstBank Amphitheater for a star-studded charity auction. The auction will feature guitars signed by Slash, Neil Young and many more.

The Strumming With The Stars global auction will benefit those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and the wildfires that have impacted the Los Angeles region as well as raise funds for the Gibson Gives and FirstBank Amphitheater music education programs in Williamson County Schools. The online-only auction will take place on March 12.

The auction will feature 23 lots with hand-signed guitars from music legends Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Slash, Luke Bryan, Jamey Johnson, Post Malone, The Avett Brothers, Primus, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, Melissa Etheridge, Halestorm, Chappell Roan, Staind, Jelly Roll, Seether, Yellowcard, I Prevail, Falling In Reverse, New Kids On the Block, Third Eye Blind, Train, One Republic, Riley Green, and Rascal Flatts.

Major central banks continued to dominate the economic news flow this week too, led by the Federal Reserve, as they announced their latest policy decisions. The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
