ACM Research, Inc. Q4 Profit Increases, Beats Estimates

ACM Research, Inc. (ACMR) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings came in at $31.080 million, or $0.46 per share. This compares with $17.700 million, or $0.26 per share, last year.

Excluding items, ACM Research, Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $37.740 million or $0.56 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.39 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period rose 31.2% to $223.471 million from $170.321 million last year.

This expectation is based on the company’s current assessment of the continuing impact from international trade policy, together with various expected spending scenarios of key customers, supply chain constraints, and the timing of acceptances for first tools under evaluation in the field, among other factors.

ACMR was up by 11.60 percent at $25.60 in the pre-market trade on the Nasdaq.
