Genuit Group plc (GEN.L), a provider of sustainable water, climate and ventilation products, Tuesday reported profit before tax of 46.3 million pounds for the full year, lower than 48.4 million pounds in the previous year, primarily due to decrease in revenue.
Excluding one-time items, underlying profit before tax declined 1.5 percent to 79.3 million pounds from 80.5 million pounds last year.
Operating profit decreased to 59.2 million pounds from 62 million pounds in the prior year, while underlying operating profit dropped to 92.2 million pounds from 94.1 million pounds.
Net profit was 33.5 million pounds or 13.3p per share, down from 38.5 million pounds or 15.4p per share a year ago.
Underlying profit decreased to 61.1 million pounds from 62.6 million pounds last year.
Revenue for the year declined to 561.3 million pounds from 586.5 million pounds in the previous year.
The company has recommended a final dividend of 8.4p per share to be paid on June 4 to shareholders of record on May 2.
