F&C Investment Trust PLC (0XW.F) Monday reported net return on ordinary activities before taxation of 1.014 billion pounds for the full year, significantly higher than 547.03 million pounds in the previous year, primarily due to higher gains on investments.
Gains on investments grew to 935.61 million pounds from 477.67 million pounds a year ago.
Net return attributable to shareholders increased to 999.76 million pounds or 201.11p per share from 532.84 million pounds or 103.29p per share last year.
Income was 111.81 million pounds, up from 106.62 million pounds a year ago.
Net asset value (NAV) total return of increased 21 percent.
The company has proposed a final dividend of 4.8p per share to be paid on May 7.
