Country Superstar Trisha Yearwood was recently honored with the 2,805th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to commemorate her impact on the entertainment industry.
Yearwood received her star in the category of Recording.
"I'm overwhelmed. It's one of those surreal moments," Yearwood said after receiving her star.
Fellow country singers Reba McEntire and Carly Pearce spoke on the occasion in honor of Yearwood.
McEntire told the audience about her friendship with Yearwood, while Pearce called Yearwood her hero.
Yearwood's husband Garth Brooks also attened the ceremony, held at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the historic Capitol Records Building. He received a star three decades ago.
"The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome renowned country singer Trisha Yearwood to the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame," said Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer. "Her remarkable talent has touched the hearts of millions around the world".
With more than three decades in the spotlight, multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM Awards, and millions of albums sold, Yearwood remains a powerhouse in country music. The iconic singer, actress, author, chef, and entrepreneur continues to captivate audiences with her signature vocals and heartfelt storytelling.
Trisha has been honored with inductions into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry, along with prestigious awards such as the ACM Honors Icon Award and CMT's June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award.
