VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited (VOF.L) Thursday reported profit before tax of $25.82 million for the first half, higher than $14.76 million in the previous year, mainly helped by growth in dividend income.
Net profit increased to $25.82 million or $0.17 per share from $14.76 million or $0.09 per share last year.
dividend income rose to $60.33 million from $36.09 million a year ago, while finance income was $153,000, down from last year's $457,000.
NAV as on December 31, 2024 was $1.093 billion or $7.63 per share, compared with $1.129 billion or $7.43 per share a year ago.
The company's Board has declared a dividend of 7.25 cents per share to be paid on May 15.
