Indian shares were subdued on Friday amid concerns over U.S. President Trump's tariff policies and ahead of the release of PCE price index report, the Fed's preferred inflation gauge, later in the day.
The benchmark 30-share BSE Sensex was down 153 points, or 0.2 percent, at 77,452 in early trade while the broader NSE Nifty index slid 36 points, or 0.2 percent, to 23,555.
