New Pacific Metals Corp. (NEWP), Monday announced that the company's Chief Executive Officer Andrew Williams will step down from the role, effective April 15.
Following this, the company's current Chief Financial Officer Jalen Yuan will assume the position of interim CEO, and the current financial controller Chester Xie will be appointed as interim CFO.
New Pacific's Chair Dickson Hall assured that the company's experienced senior management team and the Board has undertaken a comprehensive search for a permanent CEO.
In the pre-market hours, New Pacific's stock is trading at $1.18, up 0.43 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
