Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals International plc (KNSA) has reported strong financial results for the first quarter of 2025 and has boosted its revenue outlook for the year.
The company's flagship product is Arcalyst, the first and only FDA-approved therapy for recurrent pericarditis, a painful and debilitating auto-inflammatory cardiovascular disease. The drug was licensed from Regeneron in 2017.
Arcalyst's net product revenue was $137.8 million for the first quarter of 2025, compared to $78.8 million in the year-ago quarter. The company turned a profit of $8.5 million or $0.11 per share in Q1, 2025, reversing a loss of $17.7 million or $0.25 per share in the first quarter of 2024.
