Brinker International Stock Tumbles 16% Despite Higher Sales And Profit In Q3

Brinker International, Inc. (EAT) fell 15.35 percent to $136.01, down $24.66 during Tuesday's trading, after reporting third-quarter results. Company sales rose to $1,413.0 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2025, up from $1,108.9 million a year earlier.

The stock opened at $147.00 and ranged between $133.73 and $148.35 during the session on the New York Stock Exchange. Trading volume reached 4.44 million shares, significantly higher than the average daily volume of 1.54 million.

The 52-week range is $50.40 to $192.22.

Additionally, net income surged to $119.1 million compared to $48.7 million last year, a year-over-year increase of $70.4 million.
