BET has revealed the nominees for the 25th annual BET Awards, with Kendrick Lamar leading with ten nominations.
Close behind are fellow hip-hop artists Doechii, Future, GloRilla and Drake, with six nominations each.
Lamar received a nomination for Album of the Year for GNX and Video of the Year for "Not Like Us," as well as three Viewer's Choice Award nods for "Not Like Us," "Luther," featuring SZA, and "Like That" with Future and Metro Boomin, and an additional three nominations for Best Collaboration for "Like That," "30 for 30" and "Luther."
His final two nominations come in the categories of video director of the year with Dave Free and Best Male Hip Hop Artist.
Drake, Lamar's arch nemesis, has earned six nominations: Album of the Year for $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, Video of the Year for "Family Matters," Viewer's Choice Award for "Nokia," Best Group with PartyNextDoor, Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, and Best Male Hip Hop Artist.
SZA and The Weeknd tie with four nominations each, while Arya Starr, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Maverick City Music, Playboi Carti, Teddy Swims, and Tyler, The Creator each earn three nominations.
