Mariah Carey and Pitbull are set to headline Australia's Fridayz Live 2025, a festival celebrating R&B, hip-hop and pop, this October, according to an announcement by the organizers MG Live and the Hit Network.
Fridayz Live, making its return after 2023, is dubbed "bigger than ever."
The four-city tour kicks off October 17th at Brisbane Showgrounds, followed by Sydney's ENGIE Stadium on October 18th, Langley Park in Perth on October 24th, and Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on October 25th. Events are all 18+ except for selected licensed all-ages areas in Sydney and Melbourne.
For the five-time Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper Carey, the appearance at the upcoming festival marks her first Australian performance in over a decade. She last toured down under in 2013.
Miami rapper Pitbull, known as "Mr. Worldwide," returns to Australia for the first time since 2012.
Fridayz Live will also feature performances from Wiz Khalifa, and rapper Eve. U.K. rapper Tinie Tempah and pop star Jordin Sparks will also perform at the festival.
