Thor Industries Inc (THO) released earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at $135.185 million, or $2.53 per share. This compares with $114.511 million, or $2.13 per share, last year.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $1.8 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period rose 3.3% to $2.894 billion from $2.801 billion last year.

THO was up by 9.31% at $89.96 in the pre-market trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
