R&B star Teyana Taylor has released her first new music in five years, "Long Time." She also announced a new album, Escape Room, due this August.
"Long Time" is the lead single from Escape Room, which is her first album in five years, a follow-up to 2020's The Album.
"You said that you would love me till you die/ But I guess our love must be a lie/ Why won't you love me back to life?" she sings on the track.
Taylor teased Escape Room last week with a trailer for the album's accompanying short film co-starring Lakeith Stanfield and Aaron Pierre. Taylor wrote, directed, and produced the film in cooperation with her all-female production company the Aunties.
