Gilat Secures $27 Mln For ESA Terminals To Boost Airborne Connectivity Across Sectors

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (GILT) announced that its Commercial Division has secured $27 million in orders for Gilat Stellar Blu's electronically steered array - ESA terminal technology.

The majority of deliveries are scheduled within the next 12 months. The Gilat Stellar Blu ESA platform, known for its compact and high-performance design, supports multi-orbit satellite connectivity.

It is gaining ground in commercial, business, and defense aviation markets due to its scalability and ability to meet rising demands for next-generation airborne communications.

Strong investment across aviation sectors continues to drive momentum in the airborne communications market, fueling global demand for innovative, high-capacity solutions.

Tracy Trent, President of Gilat Stellar Blu, noted that the growing orders mark a key advancement for their Sidewinder platform, reinforcing the company's position in delivering agile, scalable, and mission-critical connectivity solutions for diverse airborne applications.

Tuesday, GILT closed at $6.33, up 4.98%, and rose further after hours to $6.36, gaining an additional 0.47% on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
