thyssenkrupp nucera (THYKF) said that it agreed to buy important technology and a test site from Green Hydrogen Systems, a Danish company that makes pressurized alkaline electrolysis equipment.
The deal includes ownership rights and a working test facility with a full-size model in Skive, Denmark. The company will pay for the deal using its own available cash, but the price has not been shared.
The purchase still needs approval from a court-appointed trustee, some creditors, and regulators, since Green Hydrogen Systems is going through bankruptcy. The deal is expected to be completed by late summer 2025.
