Champion Iron Launches US$450 Mln Senior Notes Offering Due 2032

Champion Iron Limited (CIA.TO) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Champion Iron Canada Inc., is initiating a US$450 million offering of senior unsecured notes maturing in 2032.

These notes will be guaranteed by Champion Iron and select subsidiaries, with interest payable semi-annually. The notes will not be listed on the ASX or TSX.

Proceeds from the offering will be used to repay existing senior credit facility debt and for general corporate purposes.

CIA.TO currently trades at $3.61 or 0.5510% lower on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
