American rapper Kanye West has been officially blocked from entering Australia over his recent song, "Heil Hitler," which glorifies the Nazi leader.
Australia's Home Affairs Minister, Tony Burke, confirmed that West's Australian visa had been revoked in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
"What's not sustainable is to import hatred," He said. "We have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry."
"Heil Hitler," also known by the alternative version title "Ni**a Heil Hitler," was independently released on May 8, 2025, as the third single from West's upcoming thirteenth studio album, In a Perfect World.
The track received negative reviews from critics, including outrage and condemnation due to its antisemitism and praise of Adolf Hitler.
The rapper, who is infamous for creating controversies, is married to Bianca Censori, an Australian-born designer.
