Plus500 Q2 Revenue Improves; Expects Annual EBITDA, Revenue In Line With Market Expectations

Plus500 Ltd (PLUS.L), a financial company, on Monday reported a rise in EBITDA and revenue for the second quarter and first half.

For the second quarter, Plus500 recorded EBITDA of $91.3 million, compared with $81.3 million in the same period last year. Revenue stood at $209.3 million as against the prior year's $182.6 million.

For the six-month period to June 30, EBITDA stood at $185.1 million, higher than $183.9 million last year. Revenue was $415.1 million, up from $398.2 million a year ago.

Further, Plus500 noted that it is scheduled to announce new shareholder returns, comprising dividends and share buybacks, as part of its first-half results on August 11.

Looking ahead, for the full year, the company expects its results to be in line with market expectations of $746.2 million for revenue and $345.2 million for EBITDA.

For fiscal 2024, the Group had posted EBITDA of $342.3 million with revenue of $768.3 million.
