Cemtrex, Inc. (CETX), Tuesday announced that its subsidiary, Vicon Industries, has secured a follow-on order exceeding $1.2 million to support a major Midwestern county government security upgrade project to enhance security across multiple county facilities.
The order, placed through a long-standing global systems integration partner, is expected to close in the coming months.
The project involves Vicon's high-performance cameras, recording servers, and Valerus video management software licenses, reinforcing the company's popularity among key public-sector stakeholders.
Currently, CETX is trading at $1.26, down 3.07 percent on the Nasdaq.
