Biophytis SA (BPTS), Tuesday announced partnership with Lynx Analytics, a provider of artificial intelligence solutions for life sciences, for discovery of small molecule drugs for the treatment of sarcopenia, an age-related progressive loss of muscle mass and strength.
The company's lead drug candidate BIO 101 is in Phase 2 study in sarcopenia.
"By integrating artificial intelligence into our drug discovery process, we aim to significantly reduce the time and cost required to bring effective therapies to patients in need," said Stanislas Veillet, CEO of Biophytis.
"Our AI platforms combine scaffold hopping tools, Biological Language Models, and Accelerated Compute for biology to streamline the discovery process," adds Gyorgy Lajtai, CEO of Lynx Analytics.
