Rémy Cointreau Q1 Sales Grow 5.7% On Organic Basis To 220.8 Mln

Rémy Cointreau (RCO.PA) Friday reported sales of 220.8 million euros for the first quarter, 1.8% higher than 217 million euros in the comparable quarter last year.

On an organic basis, sales grew 5.7%.

Additionally, Remy Cointreau said it now expects lesser impact of customs duties following the minimum price agreement signed with the Chinese authorities and the latest statements by the U.S. President. It now expects an organic decline in operating profit of mid-to-high-single-digits compared with the previous outlook of mid-to-high-teens decrease.

For the full year, the company expects sales to return to mid-single-digit growth on an organic basis.
