NatWest HY Profit Rises, Upgrades FY Outlook; Launches GBP 750 Mln Share Buyback

NatWest Group Plc (NWG.L,NWG), a British banking and insurance holding company, reported that its profit attributable to ordinary shareholders for the half-year period ended 30 June 2025 rose to 2.488 billion pounds or 30.5 pence per share from 2.099 billion pounds or 24.0 pence per share last year. The company said it has upgraded its income and returns guidance for 2025.

The company announced an interim dividend of 9.5 pence per share and intend to commence a share buyback program of 750 million pounds in the second half of 2025, bringing total distributions announced in the first-half of 2025 to 1.5 billion pounds.
