Essentra Plc (FLRAF,ESNT.L), a maker of plastic and fiber products, reported that its profit before tax for the first-half of 2025 declined to 1.3 million pounds from 4.0 million pounds in the prior year.
Profit attributable to equity holders of the company for the period was 0.3 million pounds or 0.1 pence per share down from 1.3 million pounds or 0.5 pence per share in the previous year.
Revenue for the period was 152.4 million pounds down from 159.7 million pounds in the prior year.
The company noted that it traded as anticipated in first-half of 2025 and performance is in line with Board expectations. The Board's fiscal year 2025 expectations remain unchanged.
The interim dividend for 2025 of 0.8 pence per 25 pence ordinary share will be paid on 24 October 2025 to equity holders on the register at the record date, being 19 September 2024.
