Klöckner & Co SE (KCO.DE, KLKNF), a steel and metal distribution and processing company, on Wednesday it reported profit in the second quarter compared with the previous year.
For the second quarter, net income came in at 2 million euros compared with net loss of 23 million euros last year.
Operating income or EBITDA before material special effects came in at 65 million euros, compared with 42 million euros in the prior-year period.
Sales for the quarter totaled 1.6 billion euros, significantly lower than the same period last year, primarily due to pricing effects.
Looking ahead, for the third quarter, EBITDA before material special effects is expected between 40 million euros and 80 million euros, and between 170 million euros and 240 million euros for the full year 2025.
On Tuesday, Klöckner closed trading 0.16% higher at EUR 6.20 on the XETRA.
