thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA (NCH2.DE) Wednesday reported earnings before taxes of 3 million euros for the third quarter, lower than 9 million euros in the same quarter a year ago, impacted by decline in sales in both Green Hydrogen and Chlor-Alkali segments.
Earnings before interest and taxes or EBIT was breakeven compared with 2 million euros last year.
The company posted net loss of 2 million euros or 0.01 euros per share compared with net profit of 7 million euros or 0.05 euros per share a year ago.
Sales for the quarter declined 22% to 184 million euros from 237 million euros in the previous year.
Order intake fell 77% year-on-year to 63 million euros due to a decline in order intake in the Green Hydrogen (gH2) segment.
For the full year, the company continues to expect sale to be in the range of 850 million euros - 920 million euros, and EBIT to be between a loss of 7 million euros and a gain of 7 million euros.
