Sparebanken More Q2 Profit, Net Interest Income Down

Sparebanken More (MORG.OL) Thursday reported pre-tax profit of NOK 317 million for the second quarter, lower than NOK 394 million in the same quarter a year ago.

Profit before impairment on loans was NOK 351 million, slightly down from NOK 359 million.

Profit after tax declined to NOK 243 million from NOK 301 million last year.

Net interest income was NOK 503 million, 2.9% down from NOK 518 million int the previous year.

At the end of the second quarter, provisions for expected credit losses totalled NOK 307 million, 0.33% of gross loans and guarantee commitments.
