TBC Bank Group PLC (TBCG.L), Thursday announced its decision to acquire a majority stake in OLX Uzbekistan, an online classifieds platform, from OLX Group, classifieds business of Prosus.
Through this deal, TBC expects to get access to new customer segments and unlock additional synergies through OLX Uzbekistan.
Notably, TBC Bank has formed a joint venture with Titan Investments for the acquisition deal.
Following the acquisition, OLX Uzbekistan will continue to operate under its established brand.
