Pensana Plc (PRE.L, PNSPF), an earth exploration and development company, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Karen Brown as Chief Operating Officer with effect from October 1.
Karen will take over from Rocky Smith, who will continue to consult with the Company as part of the Owner's Team currently developing the Longonjo Project.
Karen has previously worked for 21 years as Managing Director at Neo Materials Chemicals & Oxides for Europe, part of the NeoPerformance materials
The statement from CEO Tim George suggests his departure from the executive role was largely personal, as it allows him to pursue family activities while still contributing his expertise to project development.
On Monday, Pensana Plc closed trading 9.13% higher at 125.50 pence on the London Stock Exchange.
