Malaysia's unemployment rate stayed stable for the third straight month in July, data from the Department of Statistics showed on Wednesday.
The jobless rate came in at 3.0 percent in July, the same as in the previous three months. In the same month last year, the unemployment rate was 3.3 percent.
The number of unemployed people was 521,600 in July versus 518,700 in the previous month.
Data showed that the employment rate also held steady at 68.7 percent. Similarly, the labor force participation rate stood at a stable rate of 70.8 percent.
