Verrica Pharmaceuticals Stock Jumps 17% On Japan Approval Of YCANTH

Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VRCA) rose 16.58 percent to $4.71 on Friday, gaining $0.67, after its partner Torii Pharmaceutical received Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare approval for YCANTH to treat Molluscum Contagiosum.

The stock opened at $4.48 and traded between $4.35 and $4.90, compared with a previous close of $4.04 on the Nasdaq.

Trading volume reached 7.34 million shares, far above the average of 0.06 million. Verrica trades within a 52-week range of $3.82 to $19.50.
