Atos Wins Major EU Cybersecurity Contract Under CLOUD II DPS Framework

Atos announced the award of a significant contract under Lot 1 (Technical Operations Services) of the European Commission's CLOUD II Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS 2) Mini-Competition 17 (MC17) for Cybersecurity. Valued at up to 326 million euros, this agreement represents one of the most substantial cybersecurity service contracts in Europe.

Under the contract's "cascade" mechanism, Atos will serve as the first provider, prioritizing the delivery of essential cybersecurity services to European Union institutions, agencies, and bodies. The CLOUD II DPS II MC17 initiative is designed to procure professional services related to cloud and information systems, with a strong emphasis on operational support, advisory guidance, and capability development in cybersecurity. The program is managed by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Digital Services.

The framework contract, which may extend for up to 48 months, specifically covers Technical Operations Services, including Incident Response and Digital Forensics; Threat Intelligence and Monitoring; Malware Analysis; Offensive Security, including Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Red Team operations.

Atos will act as the lead contractor, working in consortium with Leonardo. The partnership brings together Atos' established leadership in cybersecurity and Leonardo's complementary expertise, delivering a robust and resilient solution to support the European Commission's digital security objectives.
