Directa Plus H1 Loss Narrows, Revenue Up 15%

Directa Plus Plc (DCTA.L) on Wednesday said that its loss narrowed in the first six months of the year, helped by a 15 percent growth in revenues and improved EBITDA. Additionally, the company said that annual EBITDA is expected to improve from last year.

The company, which produces and supplies graphene-based products, reported loss attributable to owner of the parent of 1.65 million euros or 0.02 euros per share in the first half of the year, compared to loss of 2.47 million euros or 0.04 euros per share in the same period last year.

During the first six months, loss before tax narrowed to 1.66 million euros from 2.48 million euros recorded in the year-ago period.

According to Directa Plus, half-yearly revenues rose to 3.90 million euros from 3.39 million euros in the corresponding period in fiscal 2024. The company's EBITDA loss reduced 38 percent to 1.13 million euros from last year's EBITDA loss of 1.81 million euros.

Looking ahead, the company said that it expects the EBITDA for fiscal 2025 to report a material improvement from a year ago, helped by the already in-place restructuring and efficiency measures along with strong commercial activities.
