Vistry Group plc (VTY.L), a British home construction company, Thursday said it has received an additional grant of 50 million pounds from Homes England.

The grant is part of the 2 billion pounds additional funding announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in March under the Spending Review.

Vistry said it has already begun allocating the grant to support several affordable housing schemes within the current year.

With this additional award, Vistry's total funding as a strategic partner under the 2021-26 Affordable Homes Programme rises to 252 million pounds, enabling the delivery of more than 3,500 additional affordable homes across the country.
