Specialty chemicals company Elementis Plc (ELM.L) Tuesday said that Ralph Hewins, the current Chief Financial Officer or CFO will be stepping down at the end of the year, after nine years at the helm.
To ensure a smooth succession, the Board has named Kath Kearney-Croft as his successor. She will become CFO designate on November 3 and formally take over as CFO and join the Elementis Board on January 1, 2026. Elementis said that Ralph will remain with the company until the end of March 2026 to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
The company said that Kath Kearney-Croft last worked at Learning Technologies Group, a provider of learning and talent technologies and services. She has served as CFO of Learning Technologies Group since 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience in senior finance roles in both the UK and US. Her earlier roles include leadership positions at SIG plc, The Vitec Group plc, Rexam PLC, and BOC Group, it added.
Commenting on the appointment, Luc van Ravenstein, Chief Executive Officer, said, "I am delighted that following a thorough selection process we have been able to secure Kath Kearney-Croft as our new CFO. Kath has a strong track record of leading finance functions at international public companies, and her wealth of experience across diversified industries will be highly valuable."
