JSE (JSE.JO,JSEJF), a financial trading products market place, Wednesday said Leila Fourie will retire as its CEO effective March 31, 2026. The Board has now appointed Valdene Reddy as the Group CEO, with effect from April 1, 2026.
Currently, Reddy is Director of Capital Markets at the JSE. The Board believes that his industrial strengths and client relationships will position the JSE to a transformative growth.
On the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the shares were trading at ZAc 13,000 down at 0.65 percent.

In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
